REFERENCES
To whom it may concern,
This letter is to serve as a reference for Mr. Ryan Clark. Ryan was tasked with the responsibility of creating logo's for two companies that I was either in the process of revamping or starting up. The work was done efficiently and quickly, and was the result of a easy collaborative process that left me satisfied that Ryan understood what I was trying to accomplish and the market that I was trying to reach. He worked through a number of possibilities, and I was easily able to have him incorporate a number of elements in each of the final designs. As a bonus, he went ahead and created a framework for a facebook promo page for me that I had talked about implementing, but had not got to. This was generously done unbeknownst to me, and he helped me to add to it to make it more effective. On closing, I would have to say that it was a pleasure to work with Ryan. He is creative and has a depth to his vision that is expressed in unexpected and unique ways. I would unhesitatingly recommend him for graphic work as well as web design.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter of support for Ryan Clark. Ryan worked as a gallery assistant during 2012-14 at Hamilton Artists Inc., where I served as the Programming Director for the organization. He is friendly and helpful, and assisted the public at the gallery by working at the front desk. This position involved greeting visitors and assisting them with questions about the gallery. He contributed to the organization greatly as an exhibition preparator, and was on hand to help with openings and special events. Ryan has shown great initiative by assisting at the gallery and at other local events in Hamilton His work can be placed in the genre of visionary art, and he has exhibited in multiple venues, including Hamilton and Toronto.
I observed that Ryan worked well with young artists and was well-liked and appreciated by the other gallery workers, including our high school and college/university interns, and a group of graffiti artists undertaking projects at the gallery. Ryan is dedicated to building a body of work and career in the arts. He is a kind and dedicated artist who contributes to the community.
